I choose to make portraits of my friend Siyu Shen. She came to visit me in Wuhan this week. We had a picnic in Wuhan beach.
I took a few photos for her and try to catch the best moment. But sometimes the camera can not focus on her or people are walking behind her. I chose the first photo because I didn’t think there was too much clutter in the background. The colors of the setting sun and the waves are perfect for the background of the characters. The expression and movement of the character are lovely. The breeze blowing through her hair gives the picture a dynamic feel. Even the sun behind her, the picture still have good light, and you can see the character clearly.
